Ex Norwegian rock the cover of City Link (March 11-17 edition)

ex-norwegian-city-link-coverSouth Florida’s City Link/Metromix.com newszine features Ex Norwegian on its March 11-17 edition cover! The article entitled “The Ex Factor” was written by John Thomason with photos by Matt Dean. Read it online here.

The article came out in time to plug their successful CD release event held @ The Standard March 11th. The packed house enjoyed the special live performance of the entire debut album “Standby“. Roger Houdaille played acoustic guitar while Billie G alternated in between classical and electric guitar. “Part-time” member Michelle Grand made a cameo, singing lead on “Fresh Pit”, just like the record. Despite plagued with fair amount of technical difficulties (One of the guitar amps died before the set; last minute P.A. borrowing) the band rose to the occasion and received calls for encores, which they obliged with their faithful cover of MC5’s “The American Ruse”.
